Celebrated on February 2, Candlemas is a traditional celebration originated from pagan and agricultural customs marking the end of winter. It is believed to bring good luck, and the round shape of the crepes symbolizes the sun and the return of light.

Ingredients for the crêpes
- For 100% egg substitution: 18 grams of T-Lin and 220 ml of water.
- For 50% egg substitution: 9 grams of T-Lin and 110 ml of water.
- Alternatively, use 4 eggs.
- 7,5g vanilla sugar
- 250g flour
- 50g butter, softened
- 750 ml milk
- 1 pinch of salt
Equipment needed
A salad bowl, whisk and crepe maker. That’s all!
Start to bake!
In a bowl, pour the flour (T-linen mixed with the flour) and crack the eggs. Mix gradually with milk while whisking. Add melted butter, vanilla sugar and pinch of salt. Start to bake and enjoy those fluffy crêpes!
